Marriage

okay here is the marriage page. All the requirements you need to get married will be explained.

 You will need to get your LP (love points) with the character you want to marry at 7 or higher. This is a must players, while you can go about to all the marriagable boys (if you are playing a girl) or ladies (if you are playing a boy) and see all of their events this will reset after you propose or get a reverse proposal.

You will need a double bed before this as in any HM/RF game. Now if you have triggered the Sub-event (will be explained further down.) you will need to finish that first. To see if one of these is triggered, go to your diary and see if there is a town event option. If there is, then you can click it and see which characters are involved.

Now to confess yourself all you have to do is press the R-trigger button while talking to the candidate you wish to marry. Now you can NOT break up with them after the confession event so make sure you are positive in your choice.
You can have more then one lover at the same time, with no penalties to your LP. Now if you are dating more then one person at a time and get married, all your lovers will go back to being friends with you, with no LP decrease.

Now if your candidate is not taking you seriously or is rejecting your advances....well you will have to reset. I know its a pain in the tush, but its far easier this way.
You can also keep trying. every single day.
Try raising the love points higher. the higher the points the more likely your proposal will be accepted.
IF you triggered the confession but don't want that candidate or change your mind just pick the negative option (I"m just kidding) this will break their heart though. (no Lp decrease)

when they accept you can meet the next day at 10:00 in the plaza. they will not be happy if you forget even if the points don't decrease.

now that you are lovers with your favorite candidate you can go on dates!

dates are the most efficient and best way to increase your LP. To go out on the date talk to your boyfriend/girlfried and press the R-Trigger button. then say you would like to go on a date. If they accept they'll want to meet you the next day again at the plaza at ten. DO NOT FORGET.
 You can choose the meeting place, observatory, blacksmith shop, the restaurant, general shop,your room, the florist shop, airship and the lake.

if they don't accept then you again have a sub-event in play. When you do go on a date though you have the option to get closer to them at the end of it. The more dates you go on the more you unlock. holding hands and such.

if you go to the general store you have the option to by your boyfriend/girlfriend a gift. The gift will be kept in thier bedroom you can also buy them flowers at the florist shop. At the Blacksmith they will give you a random accessory at the end of it.

now to marry you need to have been on at least three dates. have the person's friends or family
 at a respectable friendship point level.

Now if you are playing as a boy  you NEED the double bed and engagement ring.
The double bed you need to order using your prince points for Blossom (the general store owner.) to sell furniture.
The engagement ring is a Level 20 accessory. You will need the workbench to craft this.

If you are playing as a girl YOU ARE LUCKY! You don't need a double bed or engagement ring. All of the bachelor events end in a reverse proposal. You don't need to do anything but accept it. If you want to do it the hard way get the bed and craft the ring yourself to propose (but you need to turn them down first.)


Now I will talk about the prerequisite sub-events.

each boy/gal has an event you need to see before getting a proposal or proposing.

Leon: a day in Leon's life (you cannot marry him until the second arc)

Dylas: Smile Practice (this is so cute it isn't even funny)

Arthur: Don't forget your physical! and Eyeglass Mania!

Kiel: The Knights Steed and A Part-Time Job!

Vishnal: Don't fall for it Vishnal!

Doug: (you cannot woo or date him until the end of the second arc.) Doug's secret and Shiny Memories

Margaret: (I swear she must be the hardest...)

Triggering the sub events is a bit tricky sometimes you just get lucky and they pop up.
the best way is to take the character you want into your party. Like if you want to see the event,
A day in Leon's life.  Put him in your party and sleep over and over...the event should trigger soon.

but if you do it this way make sure you harvest all your crops!!

If Leon ends up leaving saying he has "something else to do" you've most likely triggered the event.

another way is to make sure that there are no sub event's triggered already. save your game, then talk to every villager, visit selphia plains and walk back into town. check your diary to see if an event has been triggered.
The last way is to just play through and it will trigger itself in its own due time..
